Max Runzel from HiveTracks
Max joined HiveTracks following his appointment with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, where he first worked on technology adoption of smallholder producers and later focused on the impact and opportunities of distributed ledger technology in the development sector across the cocoa and coffee value chains. Before working for the UN, Max obtained his Master in Rural Development (M.Sc.) from a joint European program (Erasmus Mundus) offered by Ghent University, Humboldt University, and the University of Pisa, among others, and his degree in Food and Resource Economics (M.A.) from the Korea University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Being fluent in six languages and having lived on three continents, Max believes in a truly global solution to improving bee health.
